A Wispr Flow alternative at US$5 a month
Zefmi is a Wispr Flow alternative if you work on Windows, want a lower price (US$5 a month, a third of Wispr Flow Pro's listed US$15, with a 40,000-word allowance) and dictate in Cantonese or Mandarin. Wispr Flow is the better pick if you want a free plan, a Mac or phone app straight away, or audit papers such as SOC 2 and a HIPAA agreement.

Is there a free or open source Wispr Flow alternative?
Zefmi is neither: it has a 14-day free trial, then US$5 a month, and the code is not open. Wispr Flow has its own free plan. If free matters most, Windows voice typing (Win+H) and Apple Dictation cost nothing; see Zefmi vs built-in dictation. If open source matters most, VoiceInk for Mac is open source and runs local models.
Why do people look for a Wispr Flow alternative on Windows?
The complaints we see in public threads are the price (a subscription of $144 to $180 a year), the app slowing down a Windows PC, and quality that drifts over time. We have not measured Wispr Flow's speed, memory or CPU use, or our own, so we make no claim either way. We will publish our own numbers only once we have measured them. Price is the one difference we can show today: Zefmi is US$5 a month.
