Wispr Flow has a free plan with 2,000 words a week on desktop. Pro is listed at $15 a user a month, which is $180 a year, and $12 a month appears in its own savings calculator. Zefmi is the lower-priced alternative: US$5 a month, a third of Wispr Flow Pro's listed US$15.

Is Wispr Flow free?
Yes, partly. The free plan covers Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android with a limit of 2,000 words a week on desktop and limited weekly use on mobile. Pro removes the limit. Wispr Flow also lists a meeting Notetaker, with limited access on the free plan.

In the first weeks, no: Wispr Flow is free up to 2,000 words a week, while Zefmi has a 14-day trial and then a price. If you dictate fewer than 2,000 words a week, Wispr Flow's free plan is the cheaper choice. Zefmi's plan also has a monthly word allowance of 40,000 words, which Wispr Flow Pro does not.
